I've learnt that people may hit you with their brass knuckles which they carry around. Despite me trying my best to assist them.

I've learnt that women in blue do bite. Hard. Despite having a pretty and adorable first impression.

I've learnt that being the "second frontliner" is more enjoyable than "best frontliner". If I analyse really, at some point.

I've learnt not to judge a magazine by its cover. And seven bucks is a lot of money.

I've learnt that there's a lot of half-sane people out there.

And I've learnt that I'm learning.

The chewer

Let me re-introduce myself. I'm a 20-year-old national serviceman. 1 year plus to go, about one-quarter through. I'm planning to pursue a diploma (again) after NS.

I'm working under the security unit. Of course I didn't choose that posting. It's been chosen by the Police NS department. My working day is 2 days' (1 morning and 1 night shift) work and 2 days off. A 12-hour shift.

Working life at the division is very different from life at the police academy camp.

Well, I was happier 2 months ago at camp. Even though I had to stay overnight, I had someone to call to. She was my sister's friend.

I miss her giggles. I miss whatever she talked on the phone. She did most of the talking, but actually I like talkative girls. Calling her actually makes me sleep better in camp.

But I hurt her feelings one fine night. My first night shift at the division. I lost my cool. In an unsound state of mind. I never think twice. Whatever the fuck it is, I know I was wrong all the while.

I only called her in camp, but not at any other time. I expected her to listen to me. But actually I'm the same too. I forgot about her for quite a number of days. I'm not there when she needed someone.

I was happier yesterdays.

A moment of loss.

No matter how far you run, it'll tail you and haunt you down. How about confronting it? Taking the sword and facing the dragon.

I can't explain much about the 21st century generation of youths. Maybe technology is to be blamed. Creating a line between introverts and extroverts.

You might be the benchwarmer. Not because you want to become it so. But then fell a PSP from above. Everything changes. Tables are turned. You now want and enjoy the PSP, more than you want to be in the game.

7 out of 10 would turn deep into the PSP, instead of the current ongoing match (also called life). The other 3 puts it aside, remains focus to the game, waiting anxiously or patiently to be called in.

And eventually 1 out of the 7 is called into the game. Dumbfounded, realizes that the PSP is a waste of time, a killer of hope. He's been too into that game console, he forgets the purpose of being part of the game. In a state of unpreparedness.

Running away. Running away. Hide. No matter what, the game is still on.

Graduated

Hello again mongolians. Yes, I've passed out from my basic training. Just a few more weeks before I enter into the real world. The working world. Though I'm not a frontliner. And still my job is protecting life and property.


5 months in national service. I've learnt a lot. My strength and my flaws, new ways of approaching to situations, smart shortcuts to procedures, appreciating your balls, standing on your own feet, and so much more. Just so much that I've gone through.

And encounter much all kinds of homosapiens. All having the same Obama haircut.

Desperate hairy monkeys, sleeping beauties, big whiners, crazyhappy maniacs, wannabes, silent killers, ghost whisperers, sick chickens, ah beng poseurs, selfishers, church people, foreigners, the good-smelling, the bad-smelling, and whatever else you can think of.

I have to admit that big whiners are extremely annoying. And also guys who have an attitude of a bitch. A girl bitch. To sum it up, pussies.


Last but not least, cowards. No courage. Very sad. Welcome to the new generation breed, sons of singa.

I'll miss my squad. To some extend. And of course miss the tekan moments. I mean, funny mangkuk moments.

I'll also miss seeing my HTA crush. That nerdy, but seriously hot female regular trainee. She always stood in the middle of her squad, the middle column. Her maroon glasses. Her gorgeous puffy cheek bones. Her fairlady skin. Reminds me of a slender Ugly Betty without braces.

If she's married, I'll still go for her! Haha. Holy shit. Okay, maybe not. She may melt me but I never really knew her at all.

Having a long break. I rarely went out to meet people. So much television. So much time. Without direction. Hahah.

Upgraded my pc RAM. But all I needed now is a new video card. The Doom3 which I bought in 2006 is still unplayable! Need graphic card! And I'm trying Red Alert 3 too.

And right now my external hard disk is giving problems...

I hope to get a part-time diploma this year. And get 200 bucks for my next IPPT. To get gold standard that is!

Been a stoner week. Lots of naps in the afternoon. Nothing too great in the weekends. Had a new facebook too.

But I did something new last week. Blood donation. Nothing too scary or painful. Not much fear of needles. The best thing is that I had light duty that night; the was a 'tekan' moment before water parade.

Enter '09. Here and there I hear people making 2009 resolutions. But wait. I realized I didn't make any resolutions... for 2008! What can I say. 2008 was quite a year of defeat for me. I'll explain about it one day.

Always bathe before 7. - Haiya. Nowdays never bathe all at also have.

Exercise more. - In NS now, what can I say..
