Jamming At Khairee's Place

My last post was half-written...

Yesterday the Ensi-Knights gathered at Khairee's(our new squire) place for a session. Well, Khairee's cribs was the best location for us.

The Works
Firstly, we tried to work on our original Children Of The Earth. It should be a Metal-ballad kind of song. But Ajid tried to go for a power/speed metal approach. Hmm.. Anyways, the lyrics aren't distributed by our fellow friend Hasyim yet.

Then we turned to Song Of War. I wanted it to be Viking/Troll Metal style, and we had to lengthen it too.

Finally, it was completed after the day ended (but the lyrics). Near to 5 minutes, has a silent interlude, a "cheering interlude" and some blast beats at the outro. And an awesomely guitar solo Ensisventine has ever did, from Yazid himself. Some traces of javanese guitar licks too. Very little actually... We can re-work on that.

The Troll Awakens?
I happened to discover my "finntrollish" gore vocals, well it was quite amusing. At times I sounded like a sumo-wrestler. Wakaka. Or some brutal japanese fishmonger ready to cut a whole whale. I'll work harder on that.

Well, looks like we can morph into some Trollish-Folk Metal. So, the "knights" replace with "orcs"..? "Orge?" "Troll-headhunters?" "Green-skins?" Ahaa..

A Future To Come
Khairee did a good job. Maybe some more practise on palm-muting. With that, Ensisventine will have a fuller sound. He's role is vital. The rhythmist. The 50% of our tunes depends on him.
